A new build on a sloped Brisbane lot, designed so the main floor faces the Bay.
The brief
A family home with room for guests or rental income, and daylight in a climate that is often grey.
What we did
- Framed a vaulted main floor with triple skylights over the kitchen and living area.
- Built a wood kitchen with a waterfall island open to the dining area and the deck.
- Set full-height sliding glass doors onto a covered deck with a wood ceiling.
- Finished the primary suite with a double vanity, freestanding tub and walk-in shower.
- Added an attached ADU: full kitchen, double-height living space, loft bedroom and bath.
Result
Five bedrooms across two independent homes, both looking at the Bay.
