An unused slope behind an Oakland house.
What we did
- Laid a paver patio sized for a dining table and seating.
- Built a white pergola for shade over the seating area.
- Cut curved stone steps into the grade to connect the patio to the garden.
Result
An outdoor room that gets used from spring to autumn.
